He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bundy" J. and Florence A. Warden (Forney); his brother Don Warden; and his great grandchild Ashley Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Marna D. Warden (Gephart); his children, Linda Holder (Mike) of Winter Haven, FL and Jim Warden (Mona) of Warsaw; his sister Jeannie Gable (Larry) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Michelle Force (Mike), Nikki Smith (Matt), Craig Holder (Brandi), Ryan Warden (Christy), Jamie Warden (Becky) and Julie Leist (Randy); and his stepgranddaughter Kim Garrard (Jeff). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren.
