It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Chaney (Coshocton, Ohio), who passed away on April 5, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrell Cox and Mary Cox (Vickers); her husband Joseph Carl Chaney; and her brothers, Max Cox and Forest Cox.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lloyd Cox and Esther Jones; her daughters, Janet Jackman (Dave) of London, Karen Cores (Steve) of Coshocton and JoAnn Butcher (Jere) of Coshocton; and her grandchildren, Kelly Stone (Dave) of Dublin, Stan Stokes (Hilary) of Irving, TX, Stacie Ware (Aaron) of Westerville, Stephanie Snider (Jon) of Coshocton, Scott Cores (Tara) of Westerville and John Butcher of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
