He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Guthrie and Helen Guthrie (Mullet); his siblings, Ed Guthrie, Jim Guthrie, Annabelle Vergon, Gary Guthrie and Bob Guthrie; and his sons, Michael Guthrie and Douglas Guthrie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Mullett; his son Greg Guthrie (Carla) of Coshocton; his grandchildren, Geoff Guthrie (Jenna) of Charleston and Grant Guthrie (Ashley) of Coshocton; his great grandchildren, Annalynn, Maddox, Saige, Camden and Anders; and his brothers, Tom Guthrie (Linda) of Wooster and John Guthrie (Connie) of Smithville.
