He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Howard and Catherine Jane Spang (Aronhalt); his daughter Mary Catherine; his grandson Cody Hammersley; his sister-in-law Lola Spang; and his parents-in-law, Lester and Mary Zinkon.
He is survived by: his wife Lucinda R. "Cindy" Spang (Zinkon); his children, Jill Hammersley (Mike) of Coshocton, Laurie Celeschi (Tony) of Coshocton, Troy Spang (Jennifer) of Coshocton and Harold E. "Bud" Spang (Amy) of Johnstown; his grandchildren, Brandee Krum, Darcee Claxon, Ashlee Hammersley, Amanda King, Josh Celeschi, Kasey Hammond, Jacoby Spang, Kelcey Drumm, Makenzie Wood and Mary Catherine Spang; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ethan, Kendall Krum, Graci, Bri, Bella, Addison, Ava Claxon, Rhett Celeschi, Zane Looker, Dax Drumm, Karsyn Wood, Emmy and Wesley King; and his siblings, Cheryl Wilden (Terry) of Newark, Charlie Spang of Coshocton and Mark Spang (Lynn) of Warsaw.
