She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudy Crowthers and Marie Crowthers (Laflin); her siblings, Bert, Francis, Richard Crowthers and Mabel Fogelsong; and her husbands, LeRoy Hinds and Robert LaChappelle.
She is survived by: her adoptive daughter Karen Emerson (Royce); her granddaughters, Raylene Gerber (Timothy), Reagina Shepherd (Mitch) and Rhonda Emerson (Chuck); her sister-in-law Ellen Crowthers; her pet Peanut; her sister Alice Ross; and her friend Rosalee Link. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
