She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Earl" and Virginia "Alberta" Backus (Pettit); her husbands, Daniel Reed and Richard Burt; and her brother Earl Backus.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Burt of Florida, John Burt of Coshocton and Bill Dawson of Franklin, Indiana; her stepchildren, Wade Reed and Kim Dobson (Marty); her grandchildren, Michael Burt, Laura Grace Petsky and Aaliyah Parker; her stepgrandchildren, Clayton Dobson, Evan, Zac, Patrick and Taylor Reed; and her sisters, Geraldine Lahna and Darlene Backus.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Coshocton Animal Shelter; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
