He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Lillian Louise Chaney (Brown); and his siblings, Ed, Bob, Harold, Richard, Tom Chaney, Mary and Helen Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Chaney (Norris); and his brothers, Arthur Dwayne Chaney (Vicky) of Coshocton, Joseph Chaney (Barb) of Coshocton and Franklin Chaney of Coshocton.
