It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Childress of Coshocton, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roy Childress, Sr. and Beulah Mae Childress (Thomas); and his sisters, Ruth Clay and Arlene "Dixie" Hegyi. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn E. Childress (Selders) of Coshocton; his children, Mark Childress (Janet) of Coshocton, Dale Childress (Tracy) of Warsaw, Bruce Childress (Lori) of Bakersville, Barry Childress (Shelly) of Coshocton and Amy Mohler (Travis) of Frazeysburg; and his grandchildren, Johnathon Childress, Jessica Beckett (Jason), Joni Yoder (David), Christopher Childress, Mindy Augustin (Kalyn), Jared Hamilton (Courtney), Beau Childress (Heather), Adrianna Ondayko (Michael), Michael Ross (Sarah) and Tacey Mohler Firewick (Johnathon). He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, & nephews.
