He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Cognion and Marie Cognion (Scott); his daughter Lori Wiggins; his great grandchild Leanne Hittle; and his siblings, Rosetta Moran, Bertha Woods and Anthony Cognion (Diane).
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Cognion (Lawrence); his children, Debbie Nichols of Myrtle Beach, SC., Julie Courtright (Steve) of West Lafayette, Mike Cognion (Julia) of Gloucester, VA., Lisa Gress (Jeff) of Coshocton, Kelly Blair of Coshocton and Tim Cognion (Vicki) of Nashport; and his siblings, Francis Cognion (Linda), Mary Jane Thomas and Loretta Moore (Ronnie). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Leanne Marie Hittle Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Coshocton Foundation.
