With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Akins of Coshocton, Ohio, who passed away on April 13, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Taylor and Lillian Taylor (Layland); her brother Tom Taylor; and her sibling's children, Kim Spurgeon, Stevie Taylor and Lexi Lawson.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Akins; her siblings, Sandra Taylor Gamertsfelder (Dean), Don and Gene; her siblings' children, Kirk Spurgeon, Ann Spurgeon Helms, Greg Taylor, Tim Taylor, Rick Taylor, Tom Taylor, Eve Taylor, Mark Taylor, Beth Taylor, Ben Lawson, Garney Lawson and Laraine Lawson; her brother-in-law Bob Akins; and her pet Jase.
Facial coverings and Covid-19 practices will be observed.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
