He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Laird and Sylvia Laird (Dickerson); his sons-in-law, Dick Dile and Bob Masters; his brother Wayne Neldon; and his brother-in-law Terry Lennon.
He is survived by: his close friend Joan Fitch; his children, Chris Dile (Laird), Tim Laird (Cindy), Cindy Abbott (Ray), Rita Yoder (Rollie), Jeanette Masters, Eric Settle (Judy) and Brad Settle (Barb); his sisters, Sally Lennon and Susan Kestler (Bob); and also David Fitch (Jeri). He is also survived by many many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
