She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Rhett Giffen, Kim Marie Butler of Honolulu, Scott Edward, Sallie Butler of Topsfield, Frank Wyatt and Robin Butler of New Berlin; her grandchildren, Marika Bertram of Washington, DC, Elyse Mallams of Honolulu, Alison Smead of Elkhorn, Warren Butler of Shorewood, Colin Butler of Germantown and Byron Butler of Iowa City; her children, Conor Smead, Camryn Smead, Benton Bertram, Aurelia Bertram and Sunny Mallams; her siblings, Lois Marilyn Slaughter (Gaumer) and Lewis Edward Gaumer; and her husband John Giffen Butler. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a cousin; several grand nieces and nephews; and several great-grand nieces and nephews.
