He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Whitaker and Emma Whitaker (Fender); and his sister-in-law Earline Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Taylor; his children, Lori Affolter (Steve), Jerry Whitaker and Chad Taylor; his brother Max Whitaker; his grandchildren, Jason Affolter, Debra Taylor and Amber Dawn Perez (Saul); his sibling's children, Patrice, Anne and Chris; and his sister-in-law Judy Whitaker.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Coshocton County Humane Society and/or the Coshocton County Animal Shelter.
