He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Vincent and Flora L. Cognion (Fouts); his wife W. Darlene Adams (Shaw); and his siblings, Donald Cognion, William Cognion and Dorothy Miller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rita L. Cognion (George Ziga) of Alexandria, VA and Ronda E. Kenney (John) of Newcomerstown, OH; his stepsons, Randy K. Adams of Fresno, OH and Chris A. Adams (Dianne) of Fresno, OH; his grandchildren, Shawn Kenney (Lindsay) and Shannon Heston (Chase); his stepgrandchildren, Tammy Rexroad (Ed), Johnnie Kenney (Amy), Todd Kenney (Megan), Amanda Eckelberry (Ryan), Eva Marie Adams (Kody Richardson) and Clinton Adams; his great grandchildren, Kenley, Turner, Raylan, Dalton, Sadie Heston, Aubrey and Everly Kenney; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hannah Wright (Andrew), Jessie Addy (Chase), Alyson Zufelt (Austin), Cherokee Fenwick, Colt, Claire, Cash Kenney, Nolan, Lennon Eckelberry, Karson and Avery Richardson; his sister Ann Otterstedt (Allan) of Coshocton; and his nephew Kirk Cognion.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to either the Coshocton County Handicapped Society or the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church.
