She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Shook and Olga Shook (Armendinger); her husband Rev. Bill K. Tarter; and her siblings, Jerry, Bill, Herb, Roger, Wayne Shook, Marian Johnson and Vivian L. Rhodes.
She is survived by: her children, Rena Jarboe (Dwight) of Coshocton and Bill Tarter (Deborah) of Florida; her grandchildren, Billy Tarter (Denise), Andrew Tarter (Rumana), Cynthia Tarter (Amanda), Jen Robinson (Jason) and Scott Jarboe (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Chanelle, Javin Robinson, Kiara Jarboe, Jasper, Ruby Tarter, Rumi, Robin Tarter and Avery Tarter; and her brother Hank Shook of Ontario, Canada. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
