He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Jacob and Mary Dixon, Sr. (Smith); his brother Larry Dixon; his daughter Danita Dixon; his son-in-law Doug Bowling; and his stepgrandson Michael Helmick.
He is survived by: his fiancé Jean Darr (Welker) of Coshocton; his children, Debby Bowling of Canton and Doug Dixon (Shelley) of Rhome; his stepdaughters, Julie Taylor (Mark) of Thornville and Jennifer Bookless (Jason) of Coshocton; his grandchildren, Tiffany Hurst (Justin) of Canton, Vanessa Moore of Canton, Broc Grigsby (Emily) of Uniontown and Dustin Grigsby (Kristy) of Minerva; and his stepgrandsons, Alex Taylor of Thornville and Dylan Helmick of Coshocton. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
