He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Hunt and Frances Hunt (Vallen); his great-grandparent William Ellis Hunt; his wife Wilma Hunt (Spring); his children, Christy Gauerke (Matt) of Coshocton, Cindy Klebacha (Mike) of Lewis Center, OH and Phil Hunt (Krista) of Coshocton; his grandchildren, Samantha Scherbel (Arthur), Ayrton Gauerke (Megan Vogel), Thomas Gauerke, Owen Klebacha, Emma and Ellis Hunt; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Madelyn and Oliver Scherbel; and his brother Timothy Hunt.
