He was predeceased by: his father Alonzo "Lonnie" Hess; his brother Jerald Hess; and his sister-in-law Patricia Hess. He is survived by: his significant other Holly Hill; his daughters, Blair and Ciarra; his mother Catherine "Kitty" Hess; his brother Thomas Hess (Sandy); and his children, Susie Jones (Graham), Bill Hess and James Hess (Bo). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and several grandchildren.
