He is survived by: his parents, Gene Burgess and Ginny Burgess (Marks) of Loudonville; his wife Diane Burgess (Gladstone); his children, Deric Shroyer of Coshocton, Eric Shroyer of McDonald, PA and Taylor Slaughter of Coshocton; his grandchildren, Rowen Whitsell, Knox and Kadence Shroyer; his siblings, Mark Burgess (Elaine) of Ashland, Doug Burgess (Deb) of Millersburg, Brett Burgess (Becky) of Loudonville and Jenny Fidler (Randy) of Double Oak, TX; and his pets, Patches and Tanner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
