He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Victor and Edith Ellen Jones (Chambers); his siblings, Alice Faye Myers and Shirley Jones; and his close friend Antonette "Toni" Bell.
He is survived by: his children, Hope Archer (Teddy) of Coshocton, Sheila Bordenkircher (Lance) of Coshocton and Katrena Armstrong-Jones of Columbus; his grandchildren, Tegan, Tanner, Toren, Oaklynn, Ava and Kylee; and his siblings, Mary Ann Rose of Cambridge, George Jones of Tampa, FL and Suzie Shalosky (Dan) of New Concord.
