It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Stanton (Coshocton, Ohio), born in Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on October 20, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Chandler Finnell; his sister Betty Waters; and his former wife Betty Ann. He is survived by: his wife Bobby Stanton (Lyons); his children, Steve Stanton (Tina) of Zanesville, Shane Stanton (Kathy) of Canton and Shawn Lapp (Jerry) of Dallas, TX; his stepsons, Dan Finnell (Nikkie) of Grove City and Joe Finnell (Danielle) of Dubin, Ohio; his grandchildren, Shane, Sommer, Jenny, Mike, Taylor, Spencer and Cholie; and his siblings, Mac Stanton and Ann Tomasick.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his grandson Chandler Finnell; sister Betty Waters; and previous wife, Betty Ann (Jones0 Stanton. Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm with funeral services beginning at 3:00pm with Pastor Bill Jones officiating.
