It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Cole of Crestline, Ohio, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James Cole to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel Lewis and Isabelle Geneva Cole (McKean); his wife Shirley Jean Cole; and his grandson Cole Michael Platfoot. He is survived by : his daughters, Heather Shimko (Thomas) of Youngstown, OH, Holly Platfoot (Thomas) of Botkins, OH and Melissa Miller (Kenneth) of Crestline; his grandchildren, Mason Burge, Preston Shimko, Janel Platfoot, Peyton Platfoot, Caden Platfoot, Kylee Bloomfield, Hunter Bloomfield, Rylee Bloomfield and Kenlee Miller; his sister Priscilla Laughbaum (Thomas) of Crestline; and his mother-in-law Eva Mae Cattey of Shelby.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
