She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald K. Ripple and Dorothy V. Aikins Ripple; her former life partner Jack Slagle; her spouse Dale Barnes; and her brother Larry Lee Bowman.

She is survived by : her daughters, Jackie Jean Slay (Bill) of Lima and Melisa Ann Holloway (Thomas) of Cridersville; and her sisters, Joyce E. Gallo (George) of Edmon and Cheryl A. Steele (Jeff) of Vandergrift, Penna.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
