He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Stout and Ellen Stout (Foster). He is survived by: his friends, Terry Thome, Ron Perkins, Jim Flasko, Keith Popovich, John Varrechia and Art Smith; his wife Terrie Stout (Salmon); and his siblings, Jeff Stout (Viki), James Stout (Lisa), Denise Smith and Stephanie Holman. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, great-nieces, cousins and dear friends.

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Summit County Humane Society.
