She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Viles (Hennessy); and also Richard. She is survived by: her father Richard Falen Viles; her children, Craig (Julie), Todd, Deborah (Jon) and Dennis (Lisa); her grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Rachel, Tristan, Brittany, Drew, Brooke and Hunter; her cousin Ronnie Hennessey; and also, Charles, William, Adeline, Hayden, Sophia and Micah.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel (1625 Calvary Ave, Dayton, OH 45409). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1625 Calvary Ave, Dayton, OH 45409).
Carol has been featured in newspapers as a role model for women in the workplace as well as for her philanthropic work, making and donating many homemade blankets for the homebound, veterans, and nursing home residents.
