It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann (Link) Placke (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Link and Mary Link; and her son Timothy Joseph Placke. She is survived by: her husband David Joseph Placke; her children, Susan Hilliker (late Craig) of Washington, MI, Linda Petersen (Steven) of Wilmette, IL and Christopher (Jill Alexander) of Columbus, OH; her grandchildren, Brian Hilliker, Matthew, Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth Petersen and Erik Placke; her brother Theodore Link, Sr. (Rose) of Centerville, OH; and her brother-in-law Otto (Bona). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Angels School, Hospice of Dayton or St. Leonard's Benevolent Fund.
