He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Jr. Underwood (Brenda), Edwin and Jeffrey Underwood; his sisters, Etta Rice, Gloria Underwood, Doris Underwood, Queenester Moore and Clementine Tolbert; his cousin James Cameron; his friend Alphafretta Qualls; and his sister-in-law Earlene Underwood. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
