It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louis Emanuel Doerner Jr. (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Laura Belle Landsaw and Louis Doerner Sr.; his son Steven Doerner; and his siblings, David, Joseph, Teri and Skip.

He is survived by : his wife Mindy Doerner; his sons, Shannon Doerner (Dawn) and Shaun Doerner (Christine); his nephew Matthew Yaney (Sarah); his sister-in-law Cindy Spitzer (Bob); his nieces, Tonia and Amy; his siblings, Wally Doerner, Barbara Landsaw, Beverly Smith, LuAnn Schaibly, Becky Goodwin, Jody Hollern, Toni Charles and Mary Jacquetta Nolan; and his grandchildren, Christopher Deardorff (Kim), Aiden Carter (Kielee), Louis Doerner, Michael Doerner, Kirsten Combs and T. Rooster Doerner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Community Methodist Church (339 Meyer Ave, Dayton, OH 45431). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Community Methodist Church of Riverside, Ohio, in memory of Louie Doerner.
