He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Liles and Doris Liles (Toller); and his grandson Jason. He is survived by: his wife Wilma (Combs); his sons, Dean, Kerry (Rachel) and Jeff (Vicki); his grandchildren, Douglas (Amy), Nikki Staley (Marvin), Robert Brewer, Joseph (Ashley), Dylan (Samantha), Jessica Thomas (Anthony), Justin and Joshua (Jennifer); and his brothers, Steve (Joyce) and Monty (Shelly). He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
