She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Byron McClain and Ada McClain (Morris); her husband Robert E. "Bob" Bowen; her daughter Julie Bowen-Garrison; her brother Myron "Mike" McClain; her daughters, Suzan Doan (Thomas) and Daphne Peterson; her grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Natalie, Chelsea, Cassandra, Sarah, Jonathan and Spencer; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Jillian, Elleceia, Julia, Christian, Gabriel, Valerie and Giavanna. She was also cherished by numerous nieces & nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
