He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Smith and Joan Harriet Smith; and his siblings, Michael Smith, Susan Smith and Julie Babb.
He is survived by: his daughter Tara Lynn Smith (Brian Heeter); his brother James Smith (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, Ciara and Jace. He is also survived by one niece; and three nephews.
