He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin O. Hohenberger and Betty G. Hohenberger (Viebach); his grandparents, Bessie Faye and Harry Titler; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Hohenberger.
He is survived by: his wife Rose (Casey); his children, Lori Sauber (Jeff) of Jacksonville, FL, Cinnamon Pirolli (Mark) of Petersburg, MI and Timothy Hohenberger of Defiance; his stepdaughter Tonya Busche (Edward) of Leo, IN; his grandchildren, Chase, Sami, Will, Taylor, Blake, Maddie, Abby, Drew, Devon, Kieana, Joel, Timothy, Jr. and Tawny; his great grandchildren, Nova, Ayvie, Harlyn, Milo, Levi, Rowan, Griffin and Harley; and his brother Thomas L. Hohenberger of Columbus, OH.. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
