She was predeceased by : her father Carrol McKenney; her stepchildren, Lisa Bolser, Todd Shinn and Laura Clayton; and her siblings, Keith McKenney (Elena) and Jennie Raciti.

She is survived by : her husband Theodore Nelson Shinn Jr. of Delaware; and her children, Christopher James Lomauro (Braudelina), David Alan VanLew, Sean Patrick VanLew Sr., Natalie Faye Dubeansky (Tim) and Theodore Nelson Shinn III (Alexandria).
