He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. VanSchoyck, and Leota F. VanSchoyck, Sr. (Green); his parents-in-law, Jim and Joan Schimpf; his grandson Hayden; his sisters, Betsy Ann VanSchoyck and Lisa Fern VanSchoyck; his sister-in-law Chris VanSchoyck; and his niece Brandi.
He is survived by: his pet Buster; his wife Mary VanSchoyck of Delphos; his children, Don VanSchoyck III (Josi) of Lima, Hannah VanSchoyck (Ryan Marcum) of Huber Heights, Megan VanSchoyck (Justin Stewart) of Delphos, Courtney VanSchoyck of Delphos, Stephanie Thompson of Findlay, Jessica Diaz (Joe) of Findlay and Paula Hoiles (Andy) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Kason, Hailey, Bridgett, Alexander, Jaxson, Blake, Ryan, Deriek, Kayla, Kara, Emerson, Trey, Camryn, Carter and Grayson; and his siblings, Larry E. VanSchoyck of Lima, Timothy S. (Vicki VanSchoyck), Michael R. (Mary Jane VanSchoyck) and Teresa N. Comer of Findlay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805).
