He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lavern and Frances Irene Louper Kave, Sr.; and his brother Everett Kave. He is survived by: his spouse Staci D. Parker Oct; his children, Robert Kave, III of Delphos, Joshua Kave of Hollister, CA and Tabitha Pitson (John) of Pacifica, CA; his grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle, Damien and Zuri; and his brother James Kave (Sabrina) of Lima. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
