She was predeceased by: her parents, Brigido B. Alfar and Adela Bautista Alfar; and her siblings, Dr. Adelaida Antonio, Carmen Edwards, Antonio B. Alfar (Ellen) and Rolando Alfar.
She is survived by: her former husband Dr. Jose Samson; her daughters, Chona Samson-Kinsey (Matthew) of Dover and Sheila Samson-Witt (Chris) of Dover; her grandchildren, Nathan Kinsey, Palmer and Aidan Witt; and her sisters-in-law, Lorna Espinas (Dennis) and Aida Samson.
