James L. Fondriest Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Fondriest of Dover, Ohio, who passed away on April 26, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Fondriest and Mildred Fondriest (Winkhart); and his spouse Shirley Marie Dapoz. He is survived by: his children, Sally Franz (Mike) of San Diego, Cindy Margo of Sugarcreek, Debbie Baumbick (Robert) of Avon Lake, Steve Fondriest (Liz) of Beavercreek, Jeff (Chris) of Dover and Tom Fondriest of Dover; his grandchildren, Michael Franz (Cortney), Dr. James Franz (Alexandra), Jason Margo (Cassie), Jennifer Miller (Casey), Jamie Troyer (Matt), Jeffrey Margo (Amanda), Tyler (RaeAnne), Trevin Fondriest (Tiffany), Jessica Cruz (Frederick), Kimberly Cicero (James), Nathan, Alyssa, Christin Baumbick, Ryan Fondriest (Kylie), Lauren Miller (Tyrone), Sam Fondriest (Meghan), Jacob Fondriest and Matthew Fondriest (Madalyn); and his sister-in-law Anna Wise of New Philadelphia. He is also survived by his 29 great-grandchildren.
