She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Carpenter and Effie Carpenter (Robinson); and her son Richard O. Shields. She is survived by: her husband Orman; her sister Teresa Stillman of Barberton; her daughter Terry Daugherty of North Canton; her grandchildren, Shaun, Jeremy Smith, Rachael Troutman (Paul) and Matt Knapp; and her siblings, Janet Evans (William) of Vonore, TN and Howard Carpenter (Dorothy) of Wintersville, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
