He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern D'Angelo and Gladys D'Angelo; his wife Janet D'Angelo; and his stepchildren, Bill Hatfield and Sue Hatfield.

He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Joyce Rushton (Ron) and Lu Hatfield (Loralei); his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Rushton (Mara), Zachary Hatfield (Cassie) and Morgan Hatfield (Chris); and his siblings, Sondra Swatzell (Joel), Theresa Povolny (Roger) and Jimmy D'Angelo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
