He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Swoger and Mae Nicholson Swoger; and his siblings, Karen Wiseman, Louann Schilling and James P. "Jim" Swoger.
He is survived by: his wife Anne-Lynn Sylvies Swoger; his daughter Lindsey Dorn (Patrick) of East Liverpool; his grandchildren, Evan and Madelyn Dorn; and his nephew Ernie "RJ" Wiseman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dawson Funeral Home (215 W 5th St, East Liverpool, OH 43920). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of the East Liverpool Band Boosters, P.O. Box 2952, East Liverpool, Ohio.
