We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025 we had to say goodbye to James Ray Jewett Sr. of Eaton, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Norman L. Jewett. He is survived by: his mother Julie Jewett; his children, Sara Timmons, Danny Jewett (Katlyn), Jimmy Jewett (Holly), Gage Carpenter (Sara), Shea Salyers (Paige), Presley and Hunter Jewett; and his grandchildren, Jayden, Jaxson, Easton, Aurora, Maddie, Saylor and Lilly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center (3377 US-35, West Alexandria, OH 45381). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery (3377 US-35, West Alexandria, OH 45381).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
