She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard "Tod" and Catherine "Kay" Zimmerman (Crume); and her former life partner R. Kenneth "Ken" Ogle. She is survived by : her husband Gary R. Overton; her daughter Amy Kathryn Ogle of Wethersfield; and her stepdaughter Bonnie K. Polzin of Cape Coral, FL.

She was a Secretary at Miami University Athletic Department from 1962 to 1967; Kettering Foundation in Dayton from 1967 to 1972 and Secretary for Ohio Congressman Donald E. "Buz" Lukins.
