She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Byrne and Gertrude Byrne (Horrocks); her siblings, Irene Shields (Byrne) and Robert Byrne; and her niece Donna.

She is survived by: her children, Cherylynn Valentino (Lawrence) of Beloit, Sheldon Turner of Carrollton, Robert Turner (Jennifer) of Milford, Rosalynd Turner-Parent of Greenford and Kerry Pompilli (Daniel) of Youngstown; and her pets, Toonces, Edgar, Alan and Minter.
