He was predeceased by: his daughter Barbara Copfer; and his siblings, James, Lonnie, Elmer Alexander and Myrtle "Linie" Parker.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Alexander of LaGrange, Richard Alexander (Maryann) of Lakewood, Jacqueline Beaty (Kenny) of Elyria, Allen Alexander of Elyria and John "Scott" Alexander (Tracy) of Cape Coral, FL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two step children, three step grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren.
