He was predeceased by : his wife Janine; his sister Muriel "Pat" Katai; and his nephew Kevin O'Boyle (Carol). He is survived by : his sister Phyllis O'Boyle; his nieces and nephews, Michael Katai (Ann), Sheila Reid (Michael Pontius), Bryan O'Boyle, Dan O'Boyle (Julie), Victoria Johnson (Brad), Karolyn Bako and Tim Bako (Laura); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dan (Janka), Amy Burns (Tim), Anna, Owen, Elys, Madeline and Mason.

The family suggest memorial contributions to the Friendship APL, 303 Murray Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035, or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, http://www.jdrf.org.
