He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust "Costas" Ristas and Phyllis "Filareti" Ristas (Hadgitheodoro); his brother-in-law Mark Alex Petsis; and his great-nephew Dylan Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Christina Ristas; his children, Phyllis Kopan (Michael), James Ristas, Anastasia Kohelis (Emmanuel) and Maria Theofilos (Georgio); his grandchildren, Christina Kohelis, Tykie Theofilos, James Theofilos, Christos Kopan and Anastasia Kopan; his siblings, Thomas Ristas and Benitta Petsis Nichols; and his cousin Sam Ristas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, inlaws.
