She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gates and Elizabeth Gates (Reynolds); her husband Jimmie "Jim" Brandt; and her brother Charlie Gates. She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Flanagin (Jamie) and Tricia Norris-Sung (David); her granddaughters, Chelsea Hamilton (Mitchell) and Juliette Buergo (Mark Troop); and her great grandchildren, Solomon, Bailee, Christian, Johnny and Elijah. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
