He was predeceased by: his son Walter Rohrig; and his brother-in-law Joe. He is survived by: his wife Juanita M. "Kelly" Ruter; his children, Vickie Prescott (Joe) and Mark Rohrig; and his siblings-in-law, Larry, Joyce, Rick and Tim. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
