He is survived by : his wife Nancy Hale Fesler; his son Larry Fesler; his stepson Michael Hale (Linda); and his grandchildren, Bret (Sarah), Eric Fesler, Devon Halleman (Ryan), Bryce Brownell (Isa), Jessica Rauh (Michael), Kellie Olson (Evan), Brittany Dodson (Brandon), Justin Hale (Kristin), Christine Jones (Philip), Nicolette, Jonathan and Alex Hale.
