He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, Cecil Allen and Lillian Allen (Klatt); his daughter-in-law Susan; and his granddaughter Megan.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard T. and Scott J. Allen (Pamela); his grandchildren, Sydney, Robyn and Rachel; and his sister-in-law Judy Wrightsel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
